Experiencing success on increasing agriculture productivity and registrant in every batch, Bertani Untuk Negeri 9 now coming back for active student of agriculture, plantation, and related majors to get opportunity by practice and learning directly in the field with farmers. With a five-month intenship duration, students will get critical and systematic thinking for their future careers.  

In addition to opening Farmers Development Associates (FDAs) positions for agricultural commodities, in this batch, the program also introduces a new role as a research internship only for final year students to give them experience about research as a whole.  

Through the roles and positions, students will become agents of change in future for food security by their soft skills and hard skills during the internship. As a sector that plays an important role in human life, agricultural sector needs young generation to be changemakers. A. FDA (Farmers Development Associate) 

Students will take responsibilites for increasing farmers productivity through: 

1. Manage demo plots and mini demo plots 

2. Held FFS (Farmers Field School) for farmers

3. Visits and observations regularly to the field  

4. Identify and analyze problems in agriculture based on data and observation results  

5. Discuss with farmers about agriculture problems and solutions that can be implemented

6. Monitoring the progress of implemented recommendations and ensuring recommendations are implemented correctly

• Maize - Palu, Central Sulawesi  

• Coffee - Silangit, North Sumatera  

• Chili - Cianjur, West Java  

B. Researcher 

Researcher aimed only for students who will be entering 7th semester. As a researcher, student will do the following activities: 

1. Pre-Research Training 

2. Designs Training 

3. Research Management Training 

4. Data Collection Training 

5. Research Sample Measurement Training 

6. Data Analysis Training 

7. Making Journals and Research Reports Training

C. Requirements 

1. An active undergraduate student (D3/D4/S1) under the Kemendikbudristekdikti will be entering 5th semester for FDA & 7th semester for researcher.  

2. Students from agriculture, plantation, or related majors with a minimum FPA 3.00  

3. Have a strong commitment and willing to placed in a commodity area for five months.  

4. Has great motivation and interest to develop agriculture industry in Indonesia 

5. Have organizational experience, especially as coordinator/head of division 

6. Have work or internship experience (a plus) 

7. Able to build good communication and relationships with village residents 

8. Able to take initiatives and work independently

E. Activities during BUN 9 

1. Students will enhance soft skills, business skills, and agricultural skills according to standards.  

2. Students will apply their knowledge to share and lead agricultural development projects.

3. Students will assist and directly impact farmers' welfare.  

4. Students will collaborate with farmers to increase agricultural productivity.

5. Students will undergo training to enhance their skills and knowledge.
